Hit Home Run
Kevin and Brad have been busy since Kevin returned from the beautiful garden island of Kauai. As soon as he got through the door he received a call to arrange an interview with Voice of America for a piece they are airing on C. F. Martin & Company's 175th anniversary. Thanks to Dick Boak and Len Jaffe the interview took place with Susan Logue Koster and is to be broadcast world wide. We hope our fans in the U.K., Japan, and around the world tune in to find out why we choose Martin guitars to communicate our music.

That same week Kevin went to Nazareth Pennsylvania with his son, Brendan, and son-in-law, Kevin, to enjoy the third annual Martin Owner's Club event at the place where all these excellent instruments are made. Kevin and his sons played for the open mike, toured the museum and factory, and sampled many of the guitars showcased at the event. We spent some time with Dick Boak whose enthusiasm was obvious and contagious.
Now it's back into Cue Recording Studios to continue capturing the songs for our next recording project. We'll see you at our next performance. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!

Jammin' July
Fireworks are going off in Cue Recording Studios with our recording sessions for the new Marshall Artz CD! After our next session Kevin is heading for Hawaii for some island inspiration while on vacation. Taking along his Martin D-16K (K stands for koa wood which comes only from Hawaii) will make this a re-union tour. Marshall Artz is playing at the Old Dominion Brewery before the plane takes off so come on out and get your fill of fresh beer, fine food, and great music. Keep an eye on our Shows page and plan a local summer vacation at one of our upcoming gigs. See you there!
Studio Work
Brad and Kevin are doing studio work over the next few weeks on their upcoming CD. We will be recording at CUE Recording Studios in Falls Church, Virginia. Ken Schubert will be at the sound board just as he was for our two previously released CD's. Our newest C. F. Martin & Co. guitars will be with us as we dig into the new music for this project. Keep your ears open at our upcoming shows for the songs soon to be available on our new recording. See you there!
