We have much to look forward to as we set our sights down the road. Public and private parties, studio recording and spending time with you at some of our favorite venues. Springtime will find us playing outdoor shows in and around Charlottesville, Virginia and taking a road trip to Black Mountain, North Carolina for the 10th annual SERFA (SOUTHEAST REGIONAL FOLK ALLIANCE) conference. Music and more music is what the foreseeable future holds. It doesn't get any better than that!
Maybe the groundhog saw a shadow on the 2nd of this month but that is only because the days are growing longer. More daytime sunlight gives us more time to play with our shadows. A hint of warmth is being answered by patches of green grass in places and signs of bulbs beginning to push through the earth promising Spring flowers. Enjoy the cold weather while it lasts! It was great to spend time with all you snowboarders and skiers this month at Wintergreen Resort up at the Edge. A splendid time was had by all! See you again soon. Until then visit us on You Tube and share our music on the web with all of your friends.
Acoustic Guitar Music Made in America
A new year begins in focus for all us folks with a performance by Marshall Artz for The World Folk Music Association. Come out and join us to kick the New Year into gear with finely crafted acoustic music made in America. Details are found by clicking on the Shows tab. After a stop to record a couple of songs in the studio and prepare for our forthcoming project release we return to Nellysford, Virgina and a show at Wild Wolf Brewing. Can't beat this for a country getaway from the chaos of the city and suburbs. The fresh air and mountain views are pristine therapy for the winter doldrums. We are looking forward to sharing music and brew with you again soon!
Roll it Over
This past year has been a wonderful ride for Marshall Artz. All of you beautiful people who have come out to hear us play and spend some time with us have made our lives rich in every way. Thanks for introducing your friends to us and our music. There is always room for more as the circle expands from here to everywhere on the world wide web. Make sure to join us for our last show of 2016 at The Edge at Wintergreen resort on December 28th and help us roll it over into a New Year. We are already booked into the Summer of 2017 and look forward to seeing you in the New Year. Keep your eye on the Shows tab at our website. Stay happy and healthy this holiday season with a heart full of music!
November starts in Manassas, Virginia at The Candy Factory Center for the Arts with Kevin playing solo for the Fall Gallery Walk. Then join Marshall Artz during the Veteran's Day holiday weekend at Wild Wolf on Saturday followed by a performance at Bold Rock on Sunday in Nellysford, Virginia. Beer Saturday and cider on Sunday is truly a smooth move. Celebrate Thanksgiving in harmony this year and may you harvest good things in abundance! See you soon out and about town and on the sunny side of the mountain.
