Did Someone Say Snow?
Looks like we're in for stormy weather.. Northern Virginia has had a true winter this season with several significant snowfalls. Another one is on the horizon with a second serving appearing around the corner towards the middle of next week. The Marshall Artz show in Gaithersburg, Maryland scheduled for Saturday night, February 6th, has been cancelled. What better reason to stay snug and warm at home with your complete collection of Marshall Artz downloads? Make sure you have batteries in your discman so you can spin the CD's if the power goes out! Sip on a hot toddy or a refreshing brew and get in the mood to relax and do nothing. We'll all meet again somewhere out and about once we shovel out.
Acoustic Guitar Music Feast
Marshall Artz is spreading the acoustic guitar music feast around town. We got to meet new people and greet old friends at Kilroy's and Ramparts recently. Saturday, January 23rd, we're playing at the new Dogfish Head Alehouse in Fairfax, Virginia. Check out the Shows tab for details. The acoustic music feast is spreading out around the rest of the music world with the newest Marshall Artz CD titled "Key" shown on page 37 of the most recent Martin Sounding Board newsletter. Year to Year
One year passes as the next year begins. Dwellers in the 21st century that we are, we have marched forward to the second decade with the beginning of 2010. Thanks to every one of you who came out to hear Marshall Artz at our live performances this past year! We can all look forward to seeing each other again in the new year. Turn all your friends on to the acoustic power of Marshall Artz live on the 8th of January at Ramparts in Alexadria, Virginia. Happy New Year!
Icy I See Icy
Where did the warm wind blow off to? Nothing but cold wind blowing up your coat now! You need to step out of the cold into a warm room with live music, good food and drink, to meet with present and future friends. And when it comes to presents for the holidays you can do all your shopping at the next Marshall Artz show. We have hats, shirts, CD's, download cards and posters. Everything you need to stuff stockings, surround the tree and make the season bright! We'll be looking for you at the Dogwood Tavern in Falls Church, Virginia for our last show of the year. We don't know if you've been bad or good but we'll treat you good for goodness sakes...
