Marshall Artz

The days are short and darkness comes too soon for us in Virginia's piedmont region.  The best place to be is somewhere warm with good music playing.  Playing good music is something Brad and Kevin do always.  The holiday months of November and December bring us together to celebrate and explore new songs.  This year will soon be history.  Getting  together with family and friends is our opportunity to make history.  Times like these are memories for tomorrow.  Be well, celebrate and prosper through this holiday season.  Play Marshall Artz music and let us be a part of your celebration.  Peace. 

Summer segues into Fall like a musical medley. Daylight is surrendering sooner to nightfall and the changing leaves begin to turn the green vistas into a kaleidoscope of color.  The song of the changing seasons is a sing along.  All together now!  

On September 18th Marshall Artz will be performing live at Brent Manor Vineyards in Faber, Virginia.  This excellent vineyard is just outside of Charlottesville, Virginia and features a stage set in a natural amphitheater environment..  Marshall Artz will be playing all original music from our five CD's.  Go to our Shows tab and get full details and directions.  We have missed playing for you and are looking forward to seeing you for an outdoor performance!  A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

 The lazy month of August is Summer bringing the dog days our way.  These hot days arouse a heavy thirst. Heavy Thirst is the song on  "What Matters" calling everyone who is parched to raise a glass for peace.  All together now!

The fireworks are cooling down but the weather is heating up!  Make sure to keep the fans and air conditioning blowing cool your way.  "What Matters" is your musical accompaniment for chillin' out (or in).  Thanks to everyone who has bought the music in CD or download versions and thanks to everyone who is streaming the music and sharing it with friends.  There is no limit to how far music can take you on a hot Summer day making memories! 

The Summer outlook is bright.  We are all relaxing into a healthier future and joining together with each other in large groups to celebrate.  Let's all celebrate together on June 12, 2021 at Bold Rock CIdery in Nellysford, Virginia with an outdoor concert by Marshall Artz! Come out from 1 to 4 in the afternoon and listen to the music.  Let your heart beat free.  Let's go where the music's playing.  This feels like coming home since being gone due to the pandemic.  We will be playing songs from our new album "What Matters" so get your copy now and be ready to sing along. Our new album titled "What Matters" is thirteen original songs and instrumentals.  This is our fifth release and it will soon be available for CD purchases, streaming and downloads.  Keep your ears and eyes wide open for music that matters from Marshall Artz.

This short month of February has been full of quick cold weather events reminding us that Winter is still with us.  There are only 28 days this month and they have flown by.  Only 20 days after we enter the month of March is the first day of Spring!  The trees will be budding and flowers opening to show us Nature's gentle slide into warmer days.  A new season means new music from Marshall Artz.  Our last studio date at Cue is the first week in March and puts us on track for a Spring release.  We can't wait to share it all with you!  In the meantime be well.  Keep a song in your heart and a smile on your face.   

January jammin' is virtual and long distance with folks tuning in to concerts broadcast from somewhere other than the club down the street.  For some of  us January jammin' is lounging around in our jammies all day long with nowhere to go.  Get out your guitar, put on some music and play along.  If you don't have a guitar just tap your feet and drum around on the kitchen table,  Tune into Marshall Artz videos on YouTube or Vimeo and get that band in the club down the street feeling again!
